Free February desktop and such

Hurray for February! I know I've mentioned it once or twice (or three or four times) but February just happens to hold my 29th birthday each year. It's kind of a big deal. I have several things to tell you today, the first being that there is a new computer desktop freebie for you to put on your monitor this month to celebrate.

They OBVIOUSLY forgot to add my headshot to this image, but I'll be speaking at the Rootstech in Salt Lake this Friday. Rootstech is the biggest family history event in North America where you can learn how to collect, find and share your family history stories using technology. I'll be speaking about blogs and how you can use them for your own family history. If you'd like to come, register here. I'll be posting more about my session and thoughts on family blogs a bit later!

And last but not least, my church has built a new temple in Arizona, and it kills me that I live too far away to see it in person! It's so amazingly beautiful and gigantic.

From now until February 15 they're having an open house where the public can go inside the temple and tour it. Anyone is welcome and it's totally free. If you're in the area, stop by for me! If you're curious what in the world an LDS temple is, check out this video for more info.

Thank you so much Julie for providing these calendars month after month. I’ve been using them for a couple of years and they are my favorite. Didn’t get to put February’s up until the last day when I found it was up. Looking forward to March. Thank you again!
